LASEK.
Hello, Internet people.  Should have probably mentioned this earlier, but I just made it official on Thursday.  I’m getting LASEK surgery today.  I’ve had glasses since I was 11 or 12 and I’ve been wearing contacts the past 5 years or so.  The thing about surgery here in Korea is that it’s so cheap and common!  Seriously, I went for my initial consultation appointment on...

Food poisoning sucks.
Sorry I haven’t posted anything—I’m behind on the Tao’s again, too.  I got some food poisoning on Friday night and have been out for the count all weekend.  I threw up for the first time in like 5 years.  Ugh.  I’ll be back soon.  See ya.

#53 - Imbalance —- Sleepless nights. Diet, mind, conditions Hold the possibility of correction. —- DMD:   Whenever you feel out of sorts, or cannot sleep, or find it hard to work and think, you are separated from Tao.  If you want to get back in touch with it, ask yourself three questions: Am I eating right?  Is my mind tamed?  Is my world safe?   It is not facetious to look at...

Corporations Don’t Need a Tax Cut, So Why Is Obama...
kateoplis: “The Obama administration is proposing to lower corporate taxes from the current 35 percent to 28 percent for most companies and to 25 percent for manufacturers. The move is supposed to be “revenue neutral” – meaning the Administration is also proposing to close assorted corporate tax loopholes to offset the lost revenues. One such loophole allows corporations to park their...

Obama Offers to Cut Corporate Tax Rate by 7% -... →
socialismartnature: Surprise, surprise. Obama and the GOP stand shoulder-to-shoulder when it comes to putting the interests of Corporate America and the super-rich first. The effect of such a tax cut, if Obama gets his way, would essentially mean that the largest corporations in America would suddenly become billions of dollars wealthier. The same can’t be said for the 99% of us that don’t own...
